Cure for CC apping

A few weeks ago, under "guidence" from DW, I applied to RBFCU for their master card that offers 1% cash back. I hadnt applied for a CC in almost 2 years and didnt intend to but DW brought to my attention thatr 1% cash back was better than the 10 cent per debit card use I was getting.

The process was done by computer but to my horror, we had to wait for the result via video screen where a CSR would give the approval or denial.

I was approved but all kinds of thoughts went through my mind in waiting for the CSR to come online. I thought of a Suzie Orman look-a-like saying DEINED or a group of people on the screen laughing at me saying 7-10 day notice, Sucks to be You.

Ironically I was afraid to use it for almost 2 weeks. LOL I wish I felt that way say 20 years ago when I started my CC usage reign of terror.
