Re: DCU Credit Card Changes

Interresting because they are putting me on a slightly different card

Your DCU Visa Platinum Rewards card is being updated to a DCU Visa Signature Cash Rewards card – featuring a new design and contactless payments (also known as Tap to Pay).

With your new DCU Visa Signature Cash Rewards card, you'll be able to choose cash back as a redemption option and have it deposited directly into your DCU account. Plus, your rewards points will no longer expire.

So they also have a visa signature version of the card.

It's a replacement for the Platinum Rewards, not an addition to the portfolio.      DCU hasn't completely updated the website but they have pulled down at least some of the pages specific to the Platinum Rewards and if you're a current cardholder the mobile app has been updated to show the new name of the card.

Well I just checked and I think the email is at least an error for me. I think it was ment to give me the updated the Plat logo. I did check looked at Samsung Pay and has the updated card image just like the website; as it's now updated.

I hold the Platinum (no rewards) and haven't received any such notice.

My current APR is 13.25% and when reviewing their page...the "Cash Rewards" has a minimum APR of 16.00% so I guess I'm fortunate to have NOT been PC'd to the other card as the ordinary "Platinum" is still on their site....showing my same APR.

Re: DCU Credit Card Changes

Unfortunately the refresh didn't include an update to the rate of rewards earnings - it's still a 1% card.
