DCU Visa payments
I haven't used my DCU visa in quite sometime, so I thought I would give it a little use. I paid it off and the payment cleared my bank (external)10/19/20. It still hasn't posted to my account? Are they always this slow to credit it? No wonder I don't use it much LOL

Re: DCU Visa payments
I wonder if that's bank specific when transferring payment. My Chase payments to DCU post next day.

Re: DCU Visa payments
They are pretty slow for me also. External transfers take quite awhile. You definitly can't wait till the last minute to pay.

Re: DCU Visa payments
They would still count it as received the day it was put through. I experience this occasionally with cards that I rarely use, when I have little history of payments, or add a new payment account. Most recently with Navy Federal - they would hold payments from an external bank account for nearly a week, which made using the card (fairly low limit) as a daily nearly impossible. After my 3rd payment, they now clear the next day.
Maybe use it semi regularly and they will up the available credit sooner.
B&H Payboo Card $15,000 | Amazon Prime Card $10,000 | PC Richard Card $15,000 | Target RedCard $2,000 | Walmart Store Card $1,400 | Shell Gas Card $1,200 | Overstock Store Card $7,000 | Kohl's Store Card $3,000

Re: DCU Visa payments
With DCU the easiest way to do things is to have their checking and use the Zelle app to send money to the DCU account (cap on the app is $500 a week). If you then transfer, it's done immediately. You can also transfer from the savings account and it will credit immediately. External transfers always seem to take awhile with them.

Re: DCU Visa payments
My payments to DCU would ALWAYS take forever from my CU to them and it was because they wouldn't accept electronic payments and they had to send them a check. I won't use my DCU card as much now that it is paid off though
