Younger kid just starting out, has 2 AU's but only 1 hit his EQ (no shock there right?) so now we want him (while on the AU's) to apply for cards of his own, but since onlyt 1 hit EQ there is a HUGE diff in scores TU is 722 while EX is 665 so I guess my question what non low level card can we have him appy for, that will pull TU and see the 722? Amex Blue card TU only? ill take any and all suggstions please help.
Wasn't there also a thread on here that said what cards pull what?? looked all over could not find it
same family, different kid lol (worst thing I ever did was tell people I repaired my credit LOL)
not positive it will even hit EQ honestly, as of late I have seen AU's and Equifax not mix well
Amex exclusively pulls Experian. If the 665 is a FICO 08 score and the kid has income, lower hanging fruit Amex cards may be obtainable.
I would offer the Paypal 2% cash back card. It is backed by Synchrony Bank, has a high chance of hitting TransUnion and done right they will start with a healthy reward structure of 2% with an option of 3% if done right.
If eligible, I would say Navy Federal. Their credit card apps are mostly TU and they aren't hyper score sensitive.

Rewards are nice, but when you're just starting out, the main focus should be learning how to manage credit responsibly.
Of course, there's nothing wrong with the suggestion, but I don't know that the underwriting on that Paypal 2% is very lenient.
+1 for Barclaycard.

Stop trying to help people mess up their credit. They'll figure out how to mess up their credit on their own.
