Thanks! Can anyone tell me how to go about asking for a 5k line so I get the signature version? I have not apped for cap one in so long, I dont know what their recon process is like on credit card approvals? For example, Barclay SallieMae I called the next morning for a credit limit recon and was granted it.
Does cap1 opperate the same way? I know they do not reallocate credit lines, but I am willing to close one of the plat mc's if they just increase my limit to 5k signature. Any recommendations greatly appreciated!
You can try the Executive Office.

They won't allow you to upgrade this way. Now, if you have a Venture Card then you can PC to a QS Visa because that is considered a lateral move in product.
I had a C1 Plat MC $500CL that was only 8 months old and they let me PC it to QS via chat with zero hesitation. So it seemed like it was already programmed to let me bc the front line CSR said yes immediately. However I'm still stuck in toy limit hell.

Not sure if thats entirely true. The QS1 MC with an AF looks to be in the average category but I was able to PC the Platinum MC to a QS MC with no annual fee after one month. Although this is definitely still true for me also >>>>>> However I'm still stuck in toy limit hell. Maybe when you do a PC its not considered a top tier card unless you apply for it new? Who knows, already had enough experience with Capital One to know there's no point in trying to figure out the method to their madness

The Plat MC and QS1 are both "average" category cards so that would be within their "policy".

I'll never figure out why you have a Cap One card with a 300 CL with the scores you have in your sig. I would close that out immedaitely..unless, it's AAoA thing you're building on.
