Well, since the law requires someone to do so, guess it's my turn. I got two emails yesterday, one from Amex and one from Discover telling me that my card had been removed from Samsung Pay. The Amex one had gone, but the Discover was still there. When I called Discover I was told that she had no idea why I got the email and the Discover card is indeed still active in SP. It was a glitch.
Given the coincidence of two emails arriving within a few seconds, I could be nice and blame something in Samsung Pay, but since the email came from Discover, I will call them the world's worst issuer and to be avoided at all costs! Don't blame me when they tell you that that chat was a glitch and they are really giving you a penalty APR for ever!

Check your Samsung Pay again, I just sent them a screenshot of this!
Nothing personal, just trying to avoid penalty APR for ever.
