I got my IT card in April 2013. Got auto CLI approx every quarter.
Started at $3500 & by my Apr-May statement last month, I was at $5500. I'll just let them keep doing their thing & steer clear of the luv button....

i am having love hate with my IT recently pertaining to sp cli lol. I should just stay out off approval forums, because when i read that people are getting sp cli every three months with scores in the sub700 range, it gets me pretty annoyed when i can't get one sp cli in 10+ months. I was going to try and decide by end of the year what i want to do with my discover if i don't get any kind of sp cli.
Have you tried reaching out to the executive office? It worked for me with Cap One, and I helped my mom resolve a security issue with her Discover that way recently. Send them a Facebook message and the EO will reply pretty quickly.
I am just going to use it and re assess it at end of the year , just find it annoying that everybody else is getting CLI so easily, and I can't with decent credit scores

@Anonymous @ your "decent" scores. You've had it for over 10 months, is that correct? If so -- at least wait until 1 year and then try every 3 months -- I'm sure you're going to have some success -- even with your "decent" scores. I'm assuming you're using it a good bit?

I put in 60% utilization last month since I already hit my min spend on csp so I thought why not. I will probably split non category spending between it and freedom. Well actually not this quarter since going to use freedom for gas so I can get more ur points

Your scores are much better than "decent" from where I am sitting!

Of course they are! lol That's the hilarity of it. mongstradamus is very self-deprecating.
If Discover even has a discernable pattern in deciding who gets the auto love, they are sure as sh*t making it hard to figure out.
It took two HP requests to bump my $1200 IT card to $5000.
I'm content with that to be honest, but an auto CLI would be a nice change of pace.
today is my 3rd month so hopefully i can hit the love button tomorrow, i was trying to increase it today but i guess the option waas not available, anyway my limit is 1700 how much should i ask for when i request the CLI?
Let me know how it goes, I hit the 3rd month on the 25th!

Lol I don't feel right boasting I have great scores but still is frustrating when people with scores 100 points or so lower than me get sp CLI every quarter
