Discover Deals question

When using Discover Deals for somewhere like Macy's, does this wording "Offer is not valid in combination with any other offers. " Mean that if I ordered thru DD and used one of the promo codes for free shipping and/or a % off, would the DD not be honored?

I don't really know the exact policy or what that statement applies to. I can only go by my experience. This past summer a bought a fridge from sears. I was able to use DD in combination with a code for 25% off, a promo for free shipping and a sale item, I even got store credit for using sears reward program.

$700 for a $1200 fridge with free shipping, $50 store credit and about $200 cash back made for one hell of a good deal. They even moved my old fridge to the basement.

If you try to use two shopping portals (like ebates and discover deals) one or the other may not honor the cash back.

I've been able to get cash back on a few things that were on major sale with a free shipping promo.  That's just my personal experience.  I've also seen people get hit with cash back reversals of their cashback from Discover Deals for violating their rules, but I think that was using a card that wasn't a Discover after clicking through on Discover Deals.

The Discover rep told me you couldn't use promo codes and the card. I wanted to use a 20% off code for groupon and then use my discover card and they said it would invalidate it. Now that I think about it, I should have just tried it anyway. But I didn't so oh well I guess. But that is what they said.
