Discover Escape Application

Applied Yesterday and the online app came back with processing. I called them and gave them some info and they told me they would let me know. It has been 2 days now how long does it usually take for a decision with discover?

I finally got an answer rom them, i was only approved for 2000, even though i have a 2 20000 amex since 83, 30000 bofa and all other cards are above 10000?? What givs are they always stingy on there credit limits?

They are a very conservative lender.  Many others have said Discover was their smallest limit, but after some heavy usage, trust me they will raise your limit.  They are a great bank to work with with industry leading customer service and nice online account access.

Definitely conservative for new card members... mine has yet to grow much but I have been advised by their CSRs that heavy usage and account age are factors in the CLI. Congrats!
