I had received a email saying that my application was received and it would take 30 days to process, but when I had applied I was instant approve, also when I check the app status on the discover website it says approved too. Should I called in CSR to ask them?

Wednesday night, got this email about 30days Thursday , I was instant approve when I had applied, I even called CSR on we'd and she was I was instant approved and gave me my CL lol

Since you talked to the CSR I would not worry about it to much. Might have been a glitch in the system that generated the email or something. Give it a week for your card to arrive and if it doesn't then give them a call.

should be fine. maybe they just need to manually review for fraud prevention purposes.

if you want to be 100% sure, call their new accounts department. there shouldn't be a need to though. or you can just call and have them rush the card to you as well, so you'll have a peace of mind

On the app status page it shows I'm approved already too , it's been saying so since Wednesday weird...

don't worry about it. you should be fine.

if you want to double check just to have a peace of mind, you can always call them again.

i was approved instantly, but when i went back to the application status page, it says i was pending and will hear back in 30mins.

i called CSR, and they told me i was approved. then i checked application status page again and it said i was pending.

I called CSR again, and they told me i was approved. One of those CSRs gave me a different CL too, or maybe I misheard, so I was really confused.

After the card came everything was settled down nicely though.

So I think it's just a usual glitch with their servers not updating at the same time or something funny going on.

How long does it take to arrive, I heard they send it via USPS priority? If so it should be here by today or tomorrow since priority mail takes me usually 3 dad to received in NYC
