upon being approved for my Discover it CC on late july ... i still dont see it being reported on any of my Credit reports... anybody experiencing the same.? i called discover and they told me they report to 3 the agencies.
Sometimes it takes a bit...but it will. Especially if you carry a balance of any kind. Look at it this way: every month it does not report, is lessening the affect on your aaoa.
Discover, along with many other banks, tend to skip monthly reports. It happened to me about a month ago. I had an unusually higher balance on my Discover card and that month they decided not to report it. The following month my UTI went down drastically and they reported it then.

Takes 2 billing statements before it reports for the first time.
So why do they do that exactly?
There is no way someone here can anwser your question as to why a bank does what it does.
Can you just accept it is what it is and wait like the rest of us?

Wish I knew. But, since I don't work for Discover, I can't answer that.
Thanks to all for the help ! Makes more sense now
I can prewarn you now that in the future when you CLI with Discover that the month you get the CLI dosent report the CLI you have to wait till the month after the vast majority of the time.
