Just tried and was approved for $1500 increase. But nothing actually happened. I still have the same CL.
Glad this got some awareness. Looking through the replies some people have got it to work on a short turnaround time (2 weeks even!) and for others not at all.
I went over 2 years of not being eligible for a SP CLI with them to now having it work back-to-back, so things can change whenever. For those who are stuck keep trying every 2-3 months if you feel it's worth it - 2 minutes, only SP, and automated phone > online/CSR in my experience.
I really can't think of anyone this open to user-requested increases - Amex and Citi are great with SPs too but you have to wait 180 days after the last one. Don't have experience with anyone else offering SP CLI requests.
Auto denial..lol...I will get a letter in the mail in 7-10.
Same here- Auto denial..lol...I will get a letter in the mail in 7-10.
With the automated phone CLI with Discover and even the ONLINE CLI. Do they both allow you to put in what you are asking for in the increas? or do they give you a certain amount without you asking? When I do the CLI with the Discover phone reps they ask what I would like to ask for in a CLI.
Are the phone reps just filling in the same online one I can bring up with my account review or do they have a different CLI system infront of them. This is regular phone rep from back of card. Thanks
Is there a difference in doinh the CLI request on the phone rather than online?
My luv button on the site says I currently have a credit limit increase processing, and the automated system gives me no option for CLI. How long have those of you getting CLI's multiple times in two months had your cards?

About 21 months for me. I opened the card on 08/2012 and it grew very slowly from the start. I didn't get a cli (auto) until 11/2013 even though i requested it from 6 months in to then. Got another cli (manual) in 04/2014 and another this month.

Thank you for the info steven, just wondering about this CLI frequency having something to do with age of the account.
