Discover is losing it with me....

Lowest credit line ($800), been told just TODAY 3 different dates for when I'm eligible for a credit line increase (No one seems to care about the inconsistancy), To the sock drawer it goes! I'll keep it open for the free FICO score only I guess. Anyone else ever have these issues with Discover? I was pretty excited when I was approved for the card but I'm telling you, I'm not impressed!

Even I was denied for a CLI . I got a letter which contains a blank for the reasons for the denail.

I called up the Credit Analyst and she said she was not able to do anything.

what are the reasons for the denial? Work on those reasons.

And FYI, if there's no activity and/or balance on the card, some have said that a statement won't cut, which means no score.

They won't even let me apply for a CLI yet, they have told me 3 different dates for when I'm eligible for review. I use the card like holy heck and pay every month! Lol I'm very confused.

Discover hates me ...no CLI at 6,9,12 months...reason: account still too new (credit analyst)....LOL.... I love the card and the limit really  hurts me.

Too bad the  is not reciprocal

I got a $300 auto love CLI 3 months after opening the account(1000-1300). Then went a full year without a CLI. Then in july i got nice CLI from 1300-2000. Then in oct another auto bump to 2900.    Sorta clueless on disc as GF gets them every 90 days

Well I have some new accounts but no love from AMEX. I'm going to wait about 6 months before applying for AMEX again and if approved, Discover can kick rocks! I do have Chase Freedom and a Quicksilver Siggy from CAP1 so I'll be ok for now!

I never really had too many issues with Discover other than the CL was real low (I think 1k) and I just never used it. This was several years back and at the time I lived in a real rinky-dinky small town that even the closest Wal-Mart was an hour away. So I cancelled it... for what it was worth the retention lady really tried hard to keep me on board, but at the time I just knew I would never use it.

I still have no need for Discover that Visa or Mastercard cannot take care of. There was a time in my life when I really, really wanted a Discover, and once I had it the magic went away.

Definately find out why they denied you. I got a 5k CLI from them a few months ago using the luv button (instant approval). Sock drawing Discover isn't the best idea, they won't give you a monthly statement unless you have some activity (no statment=no score) set up a small monthly charge (netflix) is a good idea.
