Discover prequal is not reliable like Citi or Capital One, sorry.

I disagree. Discover has a pretty solid prequal usually. In fact they're the only one besides HSBC that actually sent me a letter telling me why they couldn't prequalify me.

I think most here get a standard prequal message without a set APR.

I definitely got a set APR both times and so do most who report getting prequals. I don't know why that has been your experience but it's not the norm.

Between 800 and 810.
Hmmm, I don't know if anybody around here has that card....
lol just kidding, of course.
Try the prequal tool! It tends to be quite reliable. Disco pulls only once generally, but as to which bureau, it's hard to say. Experian would be my GUESS. In my personal experience, Disco seems to like being your first good SL. Not always, though, of course. I've never seen lower than $500, but unless your credit is terrible, I would bet you'll get a much better limit.
Check the prequal and good luck!!! It's a great card.
Thanks for all of the valuable feedback guys :-) It appears the Discover It card is a good card to utilize!
I'm going to take all of the good advice given and go ahead apply for the card over the next couple of days. I just did a prequalify and things look good. I'm just waiting on my Transunion report to update by Monday and I'll be under 30% credit utilization on my other cards.
Fingers crossed
thanks again
