Does AMEX PC from BCE to BCP?

I was planning on waiting, but well, I didn't. I knew I'd want it eventually, so I went ahead and got the BCE. My grocery spending is pretty borderline at the moment (BCE vs. BCP), but I thought I'd play it safe and go with the BCE at first.

If I change my mind in a few months or a year (say, after the Freedom's Grocery 2nd quarter), does AMEX PC between the two fairly seamlessly?

Since youre gojng to be paying an AF, why not just apply for it and make use of the sign up bonus?

The BCE also came with a sign up bonus. Mostly though, my non-wholesale grocery spending is pretty borderline. I might only spend about $3000, but it could be more. I"m always hesitant to take on an AF until I"m absolutely sure it's worth ti.

Unfortunately your card order was exactly the opposite of what it should have been. You should have applied for the BCP first. It has no AF first year. If you then realized that you don't spend enough, you could have downgraded to the BCE when th BCP AF hit after the first year.

Oh well, what's done is done.

And yes, you can "upgrade" to the BCP if at least one year has passed since you got the BCE.

Yep, PC'ing from BCE to BCP is super easy, I did it during the summer, you can do it on chat.

Yes you can. Think they are doing a 100/1000 offer right now on the PC upgrade.

Just FYI, unless something has recently changed or there's a special offer going around, the BCP AF is not waived the first year.  Smiley Wink

You can PC to the BCP but I believe you have to wait a year? I currently have the BCP but will PC to the BCE. I definitely use the grocery budget but lately have found myself using my PRG more so I don't have a need for 2 AF cards.

Duh, you are right. I could have sworn it was waived for the first year, but it isn't. Ignore me.

I feel like it was waived at one point but is no longer....but I could have the PRG and the BCP mixed up as well.....
