Midnight- don't be frustrated w/ not being able to make the first payment until the statement cuts. On your very first charge- you absolutely can not make an extra payment until it cuts, then you can make all the extra payments you want.

2nd- to do auto pay, they have to mail you a little pamphlet and set it up. You can not set up auto pay on the website, not yet. You will have to fill it out manually. I think they are trying to change it.

PS- try to set up your min to a little more than the min.

#1 is normal, and due to the benefits of high CLs, no problem

#2 - it has been mailed

#3 - the autopoay is only for the minimum as an emergency safety.  I will paying the rest in full via my bank billpay as soon as it is sorted out.  Everything will be set before the second statement hits  Smiley Happy

Re: EXPERIAN Info caused AMEX to shutdown my account

So here's the update on my AMEX issue. After writing the Credit Department a letter back in mid January, I receive my new statement today and it's not listed as "closed." I call to activate my Amex Blue Skycard (which I received right when my account was shuttered) and was able to activate it with the CL that I had previously.

I haven't used the card yet to know if the account is actually back up and working, but we'll see when I got to lunch today.

If my letter did work, then it just goes to show that Reconsideration does work...

Congrats. I guess mysterious things happen with Amex. Glad to know you are all set with you account.

Hmmm - as you have been so successful, can you write and ask them to update everyone's EX CRs?  Smiley Very Happy

This and FR's are why I will never get an AMEX card, I don't care if my FICOs rise higher than the temperature of the sun.

I absolutely positively second that notion.
