If you are a former HSBC customer don't get too anxious yet and try it. You will get a message that the conversion is not yet complete and you must wait until it is. I am assured by Capital One that the HSBC account is just a normal account, not a subprime account, not a prime account. This is weird, since Capone is known for only having two classifications. This was even told to me by the EO! Type A and Type B accounts. I have a Type A, B, and now a C type I guess.

I had to search for the link, and Cap1 bumped my Platinum card from $1,000 to $1,500. For whatever reason they wont let me request a CLI for my 2nd Cap1 card, but I'm planning on closing that account anyway.
That makes 3 CLI since today and yesterday... lol, hopefully all SP. I need to get back in the garden, squirels keep tearing things apart.
You have to wait a day between cards, I think, I was bumped up on 2 cards both went from $750 to $1250, the 3rd the Sony card told me it was inelgible
Awesome! Just tried (again, after a denial last week) on DW's card - $500 increase! This is great!
I tried back in August and tried again today (hell it's a SP who cares right) and got the same letter. The last time they said I didn't use the card much and my payments were too low (bad timing on the reporting, IMO).
We'll see what happens. My EQ score is about 20 points higher this month but i still haven't used the card except for an airline purchase (through their affilate and it did give me the extra points).
