I am considering applying for the Huntington Voice card. Will those of you who have this card, please advise me of your experiences with the card.
I don't have it, but its a good card. Can pick two 3% categories (even utility bills!). Some folks go for multiples to up their ante. Their credit limits seem to be nice. They also seem to like a banking relationship. And also there is a geographical limitation to huntington credit cards/accounts....
Thanks to a post by Creditmagic7 from 2014 whereas he/she said they were preapproved for the Voice after opening a checking/savings combo. I decided to open a checking account and hope for a preapproval as well. I had a Voice card last year with a measly $500 limit which wasn't going anywhere so I closed it. I went through the checking application and funding of the account and then got those magical words "you're preapproved". I said what the heck, I'll take the plunge and apply. Hoping for the best and preparing for the worst ($500). I selected the mighty Ohio State, Go Bucks! A few seconds of spinning and wait for it...

Curious about this, as well. Received a pre-approved mailer from them today. I did try to opening a checking account with them a couple months back, but couldn't complete the process. I am not in their regional area though the pre-approval letter came to my VA address. And what does pre-approval mean for them?

Well for me, preapproval meant an approval. I had a coworker open an account open a Huntington checking account but they didn't very the popup so they didn't apply for credit card.

I think it's just a choice of one 3% category, not two (which to me makes it a bit less exciting).

Thanks. Do they pull EQ exclusively as others have stated?

Thanks. Last question, were there documents to provide or verification necessary?

No docs needed from me. I had credit card approval in about 15 minutes from time of application of checking account
