when i first brought this up on here, felt like a lot of ppl were saying that was out of the ordinary for fnbo, but since then, been a lot of topics like this and replies confirming fnbo slashing limits for indiscernible reasons.
i'll just say ymmv, some people don't use their cards at all and get cli and never get limits slashed, some got limits slashed for non-use, some got their limits slashed after leaving a balance, etc.
I have not had any issues with them.
I have had a Ducks and Evergreen for a while.
I have used them for BTs.
I have received numerous CLIs both requested and auto.
I am knocking on wood.
DON'T WORK FOR CREDIT CARDS ... MAKE CREDIT CARDS WORK FOR YOU!
I have had my FNBO Ducks Unlimited for almost exactly three years. I have always requested soft pull credit limit increases and they were always approved until I hit $25,000 so I stopped requesting them. However, I have never had a credit limit decrease, at least not yet.

They recently introduced the geo-fencing for both personal and business.
MAYBE! Just went over and input my Zip Code which is way out of their Geo-Area and they gave me an application online!
Might just be a certain address or name {WINK}

@M_Smart007does this mean customers outside of the geofence will no longer be able to apply for their cards? If so, that's a bummer as I was looking forward to app'ing Evergreen early next year. I have the secured and am not in any of the states they list for branch locations: Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraskda, Texas, South Dakota.

@mortimerwereback, I am really not 100% certain?
The best thing you can do is try to input your zip code and see what comes back?.
The geo-fencing could also change at any given time.

Good idea. Or... perhaps I should unfreeze my CBs and see what the soft pull sends back and then app now before it's too late. loll....

I just checked the website myself. I put my New Jersey zip code in and could not move forward with opening a checking account. However, the application for the Evergreen did come up for me to complete so I think that is encouraging.

Good tip @cws-21. I just tried my zip code on the credit card pre qual and it took me to the app so I guess they're still accepting CCs from out of state.
