As I've posted @Doodlebug30 , my limit was cut to $500 from 15k for not using the card enough (ie using other cards more lol). I think what FNBO wants is a unicorn customer that charges huge amounts and pays it all off right AFTER the statement closes so that they get quick payment and can charge interest Smiley Very Happy

I don't think that is a realistic way to run a credit card business, so I closed both my FNBO cards. I closed the Evergreen today, even though they haven't cut that limit. Yet. It's too much hassle to try to guess what they want. And I have 1% utilization, so closing the card won't affect my scores.

Sorry about your CLD, but how does one pay interest if they "pay it all off AFTER the statement" as you typed above.

If ALL is paid off, there is no interest while in the grace period.

Re: FNBO CLD

@Remedios typo. my bad. I changed my hypothetical unicorn example to "after the grace period". Smiley Happy

Re: FNBO CLD

Do you guys think it's time to merge FBNO threads? Everyone is starting their own then posting in all other threads about CLDs

If there is any pattern to these CLDs, it's going to be completely lost because everything is so fragmented 🤷‍♀️

@805orbust     Looking for good information? Try this, my FNBO Credit Card has a Fico Rating of 856 (200 to 900) Fico Bankcard Score 9. Now it was 837 before I did a BT? No credit bureaus reported any changes ... go figure? Smiley Frustrated

Sure do wonder? Smiley Surprised

Re: FNBO CLD

Although I haven't been impacted and have put good gas spend on my co-branded ducks unlimited and use BT when good ones come and good limit it could always happen.  I think we you are seeing is them certainly tightening their belt in the economic troubling time for many and the recession we are already in or the one coming however you view it.  The economy and most economist thinks it is going to get alot worse before better.  This would likely be my guess what is going on as CC debt is going up across the board which is good for interest for them, but without as much as huge reserves such as Chase etc they could be limiting what they foresee as ppl charging up then charging off.  Who knows, only FNBO and the people that can't or won't say on such a board.  Stinks for the people it is happening to, but not only seeing thing from FNBO, but obviously Sync, Comenity, etc and sure other lenders as well.
