Yes! I called today to see if I could unsecure and they informed me that I have been unsecure since Feb. Never got the check for some reason, but they're resending it.

Congrats!!!

Re: FNBO Graduates!

WF graduates 12/21/2015 bi***es!!!!!

Sorry, little bit excited.  Got the letter today!  Opened 2/2015, graduates 12/2015.  Put up $500.  Pretty much maxed out every month, but paid down to less than 5% before the statement cut (usually $0).

They "upgraded" it to their 1% cash back/$0 AF card.  Not great, but not horrible.  No mention of a CLI (and I'm not expecting one).  Woo hoo!  This is the last of my secured cards!

Current FICO (from FBNO Experian) is 633.  Around 25% utiilzation.

I really have to say that if you treat these banks "right", they will do the "right" thing.  It just takes a while.

Thanks everyone!  I was really surprised.  My credit isn't ... horrible, but mediorce at best.  I was going to give it 18 months before I called and asked.

I've heard FNBO is picky so hence my surpirse.  In the grand scheme of things, it isn't a great card (20.99%, no rewards, no AF), but ... there are certainly worse cards out there, especially for someone in the 630's.

Their customer service is on-shore (indeed when you call, they say, "I'm Mike in Omaha, Nebraska").  I actually called to make sure the check was legit.  Smiley Happy.  Couldn't belive it.  Hopefully WF is next.

If it's a challenge you're after, I'd try to get that WF secured card graduated. Smiley Very Happy I had one for two years they wouldn't unsecure.

Re: FNBO Graduates!

I just graduated too!  Opened post BK13 mid-January 2016.  Just got the email and that the check would be issued inside of 30 days!  Doesn't look like any pulls on CR.  I am wondering should I click for a CLI?  Or just ride it out.  Not sure if the SP or HP for a CLI.  Anyone know?
