Re: Fear of hitting the submit button

Good info thank you. My goal is to make it to 750 or higher on all 3 reports. I figure if I have it on EQ and TU then my EX should be around the same.

All the credit reports look the same except the TU not reporting the BK.

In about 6 months I want to purchase a new car and want to try and get the best rate.

Re: Fear of hitting the submit button

Hold off until after the BK drops and the car loan is started.  Then you can get a really nice Visa/MC with a generous limit with good terms/rewards.

The BK does not show on TU but does on EQ and EX.

No baddies other than that major BK from 03.

With the bk not showing on TU & that 770 score....if you really want a card, with good limits & a good rate, go for the Nationwide Visa.  My TU was MUCH lower, I still had baddies & I had about a 30% util & they gave me 10k.

Type them in the search box & read some recent threads about them.

Re: Fear of hitting the submit button

Wait until the BK falls off, and there's an excellent chance that all three of your scores will be above 750 just from that.

After all, your TU is 71 points higher than your EQ. Is the BK the only significant difference between the reports? If so, waiting will be the best thing that you can do.

Once it's gone, re-evaluate.

btw, many people find that BK's come off a month or two early. Perhaps the credit bureaus do this to avoid accidentally reporting too long and violating the FCRA.

Re: Fear of hitting the submit button

In my experience, Discover pulls TU more often than not.

So....   don't want to be a bad influence, but......

What state are you in?  That might help, check whogavemecredit to decide if its worth the risk.
