I'm thinking the Every Day card needs > 30 transactions a month to maximize points. What do you spend money on? If Gas and Groceries (at a real grocery store), then BCE for sure.
What makes you so sure you should get one in the first place?

Its 20 per month on ED for 20% additional and 30 per month on EDP for 50% additional

For cash, that leaves you 1 of those 3 options. If you’re looking to “get in” with Amex and can justify the AF, the 100,000 MR offer is floating around again for Platinum. At least $1200 in airline value vs the small cash bonus on the Cash Magnet card.Hmmm Thinking maybe then the Every Day Card? The Magnet looks ok, but looking at the benefits is pretty generic, Thoughts?
I love my ED as it will be a place holder for my MR points if i don't keep a charge card active, but its not a good CB card honestly.
The ED (Everyday) is an MR points card. If you use it as Cashback the points are effectively valued at 0.6 CPP. Sometimes you can get more value from it if you use it to get a giftcard with the points. Depends on the offers and what you like to buy tho.
The BCE is a cashback card that earns 3x grocery/2x gas/1x everything else. Redeem at $25
The Magnet is 1.5% on everything I think its also $25 to redeem.
Hmmm only ones I'm prequal for is either the Amex ED or Magnet, wish it was the BCE, so I'm hearing... Lean to Magnet????

Bascially the BCE and Magnet are the same approval type, and alot of ppl have PC-ed between the two easily. Now if the BCE isnt showing the pre-approved, i would say that you could probably get it, but YMMV. If you dont have a 1.5% card, i would highly recommend getting Magnet.

Finally prequalified for AMEX, trying to decide which one?
Here are the Choices:
Gold Delta SkyMiles® Credit Card
Any suggestions appreciated, Thanks!!!
No late or delinquients, good credit mix, a few inquiries 34% utilization, pay well above minimum payments...
Cash Magnet. Go for it. 👍
If you want cash back, stay away from anything that earns MRs. As already stated, you'll get horrible value. If you're prequalified for the new Cash Magnet, you're likely eligible for the Blue Cash EveryDay and the Bule Cash Preferred, the latter of which does have an annual fee. Look at your spend and see which of the three would earn you the most cash back.
@jamesabbey , so whats the SL you got on your new approved Magnet
