I would just ask Elan to close it befiore it trasfers to FNBO then when it reports closed on all your CRs go ahead and get another max cash by choosing a different bank, I got mine thru Community Banks of colorado and have no banking relationship with them at all. the 5% uis well worth the HP for the new account. Well FNBO is currently having a tizzy fit, they hiked interst rates across the board irregardless of history with them or credit score. I told em to goto hell and dumped over40K in credit with them. If they get off their high horse I might consider going back someday. Another one on these boards has gone rounds with them several times since the 1980s. This is why I recommend closing it before it goes to FNBO.
