You have 3 different options to redeem points
Real Time Rewards (1.5CPP)
You can setup and enroll in RTR in order to redeem travel purchases.
Once it’s setup and your purchase falls within the minimums you setup during enrollment. $500 minimum for hotels.
You go to any US based hotel, airline, car renta directly. And complete your purchase. You will get a text to redeem your points.
This is the best way to book hotels if you will spend over $500 as it lets you book directly through the hotel itself so you earn elite night credits and benefits.
Portal bookings. (1.5CPP)
Standard portal. Price it out through because i’ve Found them to be higher then other OTA’s.
Same deal if you booked through Expedia.
Statement credit (1CPP)
You mentioned a purchase eraser. This isn’t it.
You take a statement credit for 1CPP. Worst redemption value but you can use it on anything.
