Re: Freedom or zync

Since you have a Chase checking account it's a no brainer to get the Freedom. Rewards are much better.

Chase likes to see at least 2 or 3 TLs for a year or more. Also, you have several new accts. I think you'd be better off gardening what you have for a while I don't know that the one AU card would be enough to qualify you. I'd probably wait until your own accts have been open a year and then app.

I'd also try for a 6-mo CLI w/SFCU, even if it's a HP. You'll get a better starting CL w/Chase (and anyone else) if they see higher limits on your current accts.

Re: Freedom or zync

My AAoA was about 0.6 years when I applied for the freedom last month. I got denied but when I worked with the recon reps I was able to get it approved but with a low limit. I'd say your FICO score doesn't matter as long as you've shown good use of credit in the past.

Re: Freedom or zync

Both are great cards but the Freedom ahs a better rewards structure than the Zync.

Re: Freedom or zync

It's a no brainer to get the Freedom over Zync IMO, especially with the checking account already in place. You might want to apply in-person at a branch.
