Re: Furious... Cap1...

I don't understand why you're furious.  It seems like a reasonable request that should have been done before.  If I were close enough with someone to put them as a credit card user on my card, I'd  ask for the info.  I read once that there was an issue with someone using a personal card as a business card.  It sounds like what you're doing.  Maybe that's what they have figured out.

No. I put their SS # and DOB on. I just do not have a Copy of their SS CARD or DL.

But I'm beginning to feel pleased with this ordeal. I think I could find a much better lender!

I just joined BECU. Smiley Happy

No it's personal. However that was the reason I added the 5 users. They are my 5 most necessary employees. My assistant, GC, real estate agent, etc. I didn't want a HP to open a business card when I had an idle card laying around... So I designated it toward them using it for fuel, meals, expenses, etc...

This is exactly the situation that business cards are designed for - adding employees.

I'd suggest looking into a business card. Some lenders, like AMEX, even allow individual employee controls that may be helpful. Be prepared though, the employees will still need to provide SSN. Heck, I even had to provide one for a corporate card I'm a user on.

To Capital One, it probably look like you sold your 5 AU slots to 5 random people. A business card is much better for that purpose. A HP is barely anything unless you have a thin file.

My bookkeeper told me in 1996, if you ever use your personal card for Bus.

You can find another bookkeeper. Thus I started separate Bus. Credit.

Individual user controls such as what? You're right. I've been stalking AMEX lately anyway... It is very appealing.

They Pre-Qualified me, too!

You can assign them a spend limit or even limit the merchant types they can use the card at.
