Getting a LOW APR CC

Cleaned up my credit score from a 554 Oct 2014 to a current 698.  I can get approved for most CC's with no problem but with a high APR.

My lowest card right now is a Discover-it and that is at a 19% APR and just have been doing balance transfers after riding out the 0% APR

Any reccomendations on getting a lower APR Credit Cards?

Thanks and I enjoy this site and have learned so much since "lurking" and finally registered

Your best bet is to look at the various credit unions. Most have no frills low APR cards available.

If you go the CU route, see if you can clean up your score enough to reach 720. That's the usual CU cutoff for the best rates, which can be as low as 6-7% V or 9-10% fixed. If you can't wait that long, CUs will still give much lower rates than what you have now.

No frills cards are often called [CUname] visa platinum, to help your hunt.

If you don't mind a secured card, SDFCU has a 6.99% V with minimum $250 credit limit. Everyone can join through American Consumer Council... I've heard SDFCU's unsecured visa goes as low as 6.99% also but people are usually approved for 8.99%
