correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought chase frowns upon having more than 3 inquiries in a year especially so close together. If I were u I would either garden your cards or get the amazon store card ( which is issued by GE generous credit limits and increases) plus the store offers o% apr or high priced items.

The only problem is that the store card doesn't offer the $50 instant credit.

I think the store card gets a gift card still, just a smaller er one.
Also I'm still fairly certain you cannot have a siggy with a limit under $5,000, jus sayin. Maybe they sent you a plat, or upped your limit, but i think visa has the restriction on siggys starting at 5000,not banks. Cant get around that.
Well ssmithy has a card marked Visa Sig, with a 1.5K limit. So it probably is not meant to happen, but it does.
I applied for the Chase Amazon Visa the other day. Got the 7-10 day message, called the backdoor number to find out what was going on. Rep said I had been declined but he would take a second look. Asked me why I had so many inquiries (12 in past year), explained to him the inquiries. He took a couple minutes, came back, asked what credit limit I wanted, told him $2500, he said I was approved for that, but I should have asked for more.
