I have to admit, I've been green with envy over all the CSP and United approvals on the boards lately (congrats to everyone btw). So I did the next best thing to satisfy my itch; I revisited all my cards to see which ones I had a shot at getting a SP CLI. It seemed like a long shot but the only thing that fit the criteria was the Walmart card, so off I went to call GE underwriting. I asked for 10k and they countered with 5k! I feel damn good today!

congrats! I got mine through GE as well (Lowe's)- was initially approved for $300- called to recon the limit and requested $5,000 and was given $5,000! It's a great feeling!

Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

GECRB helped me get higher limits! Without those SP clis from GE, I don't think I'd have any of my high limits!
