Great News from PenFed

actually, some of the inquiries I don't recognize at all... so I'm trying to figure out how to handle that issue... I've opened several new accounts in the last 6 months... actually, ALL that I have, accept our car loan.  However, none are showing up on the CR yet.

It could be declined because of "excessive inquiries". I have been declined that way before. I went on an application spree this weekend with my new scores....9 total (4 TU, 2 on Exp, and 3 on EQ), so I am done for a long time. I think creditors get nervous with multiple inqs.

Depends, they will either instant approve if the scores are there or it will go for review.  Real people actually look at it.  You can be requested to call back in 4 hours or 48. You can also look at your accounts online and check app status.  It took about two minutes for me to be approved for a sig loan tho I did have to fax over financials.  The credit card is taking a little longer.

Jenn since you want to know what your scores are, have you ever considered signing up for scorewatch?  I use it jsut to let me know if anything goes awry.
