weird not showing on my browser... could be a firewall issue with our company or a vpn issue as used a few different browsers so far. Will look when I get home. Thanks.
Strange thing trying to log into account and can fine to pay a bill but getting an error.... sigh. Will deal with that when i get home as well
What about current customers? Not seeing anyhting....
No prequals... but they are sending a letter to state why. That is different than most.

Once I put my SSN, they said I can't use this tool because I'm already a costumer
They pull Equifax. I filled out prequal and it said to unlock my equifax account. Not going to do it, just checking.

This really pisses me off
I don't understand why prequal sites request you to open your frozen files. They're only going to SP you and they can do that with your reports frozen, so I really don't know why they always ask you to unfreeze your account
Also Sync not giving you your credit score with a frozen report?

I fail to see how this would be upsetting. Plenty of other lenders who offer pre-qualified offers online without having to unfreeze. Some lenders have their rules or internal processes and that's just how they roll.
ETA - based on the information also provided, it appears the HSBC portal is geared toward new customers. Your signature seems to display 2 HSBC cards, which is the max number of CCs under their policy.
FWIW I was able to get prequalifications. It was mentioned over in a thread discussing HSBC preapprovals showing on Credit Karma (topics are different enough that they are not merged). Details here.

Your credit report cannot be pulled, SP or HP, with a freeze or lock on it. The only exception is for account reviews for existing lenders and their agents (including collection agencies) and promotional inquiries.
It would make no sense to have security freezes if a lender can use a SP to get the information and open a new account.
