HSBC Orchard bank reporting

My statement date was 5/13.  Any idea when these guys report to the bureaus?  My balance has been the same on my credit report for 5 weeks.

Re: HSBC Orchard bank reporting

They usually report the balance as of the last day of the month.  For me, they usually updated around the 3rd or 4th of the following month.  I've been needing them to report my $0 balance.

Re: HSBC Orchard bank reporting

Something is definitely wrong. A lot of people on different forums are saying that HSBC/Orchard hasn't been reporting since April, me being one of them. They have been reporting for me on the last day every single month for the past three years. This is the first time they skip a month. Maybe something changed?

Out of curiosity has anyone ever made contact with HSBC about this issue?

Same boat here, waiting for them to report. Maybe they're having a problem with their system after being flooded with CLI requests?

Re: HSBC Orchard bank reporting

Funny thing about low limit cards is that a $100 decrease in balance could result in potentially a 30% decrease in utility.  So is it understood that your balance on the last day of the month is the number that Orchard reports?

Up until this moth, thats the way they've been reporting for me. About 2 monthsago,  they had a system failure and had stopped reporting accounts.  The account no longer showed up on the CR. They resolved it.  But now it seems they are having some more porblems.
