I chatted with Synch this morning. Unfortunately I got busy at work and the chat expired before I could really clarify with him. I don't think he really understood what I was asking.
10:40:25 AM : ME: Initial Question/Comment: It looks as though your financing options have changed recently. Can you explain to me how the special financing works now?
10:46:16 AM : JP: Thank you for waiting. Special financing have not change, any promotions that is paid in full on or before the expiration date is free of interest.
10:47:02 AM : ME: I received a couple of emails that say from time to time special financing may be offered. This seems to be different than before, when special financing was always offered for certain amounts.
10:47:33 AM : ME: And I can no longer find the bar codes that should be scanned for the special financing offers. These used to be available on the website but they are no longer there.
10:49:11 AM : JP: I apologize for the inconvenience. If you will received a coupon about a certain promotions that only means you are qualified, not all cardholders with walmart is qulaified for the ongoing promotions.
10:50:21 AM : JP: But we do have a communications showing any $150-$298.99 is qualified to 6 months on instore purchases.
10:50:46 AM : JP: And $299.00 or more, that is qualified to 12 months in store purchases.
10:51:06 AM : JP: I do apologize again for the inconvenience, is there anything else that I may assist you with?
10:52:52 AM : System: The session has ended!
I do most of the shopping online ... are these promotional offers ever valid online, or are they instore only?

From what I remember, they were instore only. I think this is a big miss on Walmart's part. They have more high dollar items on the website, why not extend the special financing to those items as well?

Couldn't agree more ... in fact, I was just thinking late last week that without special financing online, I'm not sure there's a need for this card in my wallet.
When I buy bigger ticket items, I do so after a fair amount of research online, which I can't really do in the store, so I'm more apt to pull that trigger online.
I find the Amazon card much more appealing in that regard.

Same here! Or I could use Blispay.
