I'd like to apply for Chase Freedom Unlimited, but I have some issues. That's my situation:
I know they accept ITIN for application, but I can't check if I'm pre approved on Chase website because they ask for SSN for that. The only way I was able to check for Chase pre approval was on Amazon Visa Signature (in this case they allow ITIN), but I got a message saying that they weren't able to obtain my credit report (I think because I don't have a FICO score).
My question: If I try to apply to the Freedom Unlimited and they don't find my credit report, do you think this still could hurt my my credit score? What do you suggest for me?

- I'm foreign and I don't have a SSN yet (just ITIN)
- My credit history is too new (just 4 months), so I don't have a FICO score yet, just VantageScore (VS 4.0 TU 680)

are you doing any banking already with Chase?

No relationship with Chase until now
Give it another 8 months or so, then try. You're going to waste HP for nothing with or without SS number.
Also, with 4 months of credit history, you wouldn't get pre-approval even if you had social security number.
