It would take literally forever to get that many points on a Rewards MC even if everything you bought was in 2% category.

Nice dose of reality thread.  I've never understood why people get so excited that they can cash in their QS rewards in $0.18 increments.  Who cashes in 18 cents worth of rewards anyways?!?

I usually wait until $10+ on the QS

I recently made a reservation for the JW marriott essex house in NYC. 205,000 marriott points. 

 

I almost died, until I realized if I paid cash it would be about $3000.
