I applied for a Home Depot card yesterday. Got the7-10 day message. I called today to check the status and the lady said that they not rendered a decision yet, and I should receive a letter in 7-10 days with a decision. Does that sound like a denial to you??
A similar thing happened to me once before on a credit card account I would be optimistic and say there"s a 50/50 chance. GL to ya I think you will be approved.
Called again...the woman put me on hold, came back and said that it was still in processing and there was no approval or denial yet. Keeping my fingers crossed! Atleast it wasn't denied.....or if it was they are not telling that.
Ok, I have another question about this. I tried calling again today and the lady that answered said that they are not able to tell anything until the application has been approved. She said to wait for the letter. Is there another number that I should be calling? I called the number off of the citi website. I really want to know about this card! Thanks!
