I have a new American Express and Discover CC; will it take two months for them to show on my credit report? I see the inquiries though.
It depends on the bank or lender. I got CCs and auto refi from DCU and a CC from Penfed and they already showed up on my EX. I just got them about 2 weeks ago . I am not sure with AMex and Discover though.
It varies with each card. As mentioned before PenFed was really quick. BofA is really slow. I don't have an AmX (blacklisted, I think.) Discover is somewhere in the middle.
I was approved for Discover last Tuesday and it's still not on my CR. Barclay's and Lowe's hit almost the next day. BoA took 2 months to update my CLI so I'm not holding my breath on when the new card is going to report.
Discover it took 3 weeks to show up for me.
Barclay definitely fast.

Generally, it doesnt take that long for a new account to show up. It does depend on the financial institution. American Express and Discover It are pretty quick. IIRC, I think mine showed up within 2 weeks or less. I'm curious... Is it really important? Are you planning to apply for other cards before they report?
SN: It took my PNC Core visa almost a month to report to my TU CR.
Generally when your 1st statement cut the bank will report your 1st balance to the bureaus. That usually will be about 1 month on average.
