I agree with what the other MFer said, Cap1 likes to bucket cards (Discover does the same- my wife's Discover IT Secured graduated, but is lucky to get a $300 CLI, we only keep it for the 5% categories). Maxing out isn't ideal, but it's sometimes hard not to with these really low limit cards.

 

Once it is paid off, most of the damage is moot, it's not the end of the world, but it isn't something I would recommend doing again.

 

Are you SDing (sock drawing- not using) it because you got a better card?
