How long do NFCU balance transfers take typically to get and apply to lender? It appears they don't ACH like most modern institutions such as PenFed and send a manual check as they ask for address and account and name of account etc.. Is this a correct assumption? Few weeks top probably as got letter from NFCU yesterday saying processed in the regular mail with the account #'s but yet to see them apply to any of the accounts I BT'ed. Thanks in advance.

Im just learning this myself.....
I just did one 2JAN19 to NFCU from Discover and it just Updated today 9JAN19 on Disco but it says it posted on the 7JAN19 om Disco?!, so 5-7 days from start to finish. However I'm still waiting on Penfed to NFCU to update since 2JAN19.......
I just did two BTs with NFCU.
Sent 12/27, received 12/31 by one lender.
Sent 1/2, received 1/7 by the other lender.
Still pretty zippy despite not being ACH.
It took roughly 10 days for my BT to post to AMEX from NFCU. It was mailed FYI.
Definitely better to be prepared to have it take longer than expect a few days and have some overlap but this was my first BT I have ever done and I was glad to see they both went through fine. Disco taking longer to post than Best Egg was surprising though.
lol thanks all... I did two one was from PenFed to NFCU and one was from Lowes/Sync to NFCU as figured I would pay a whopping 35 interest and make sure i had no nasty retro interest on my lowes card in the 11 months at max ill take to pay them off.. Neither have taken yet, but from the sounds of it i should probably see it reflect tomorrow or friday. Don't mind paying a tiny bit of interest to such a great instition such as NFCU as 1.99 is killing me i tell you .
@Gmood1 make sure you also include you CVC and expiration date and of course billing address so i can ensure I make sure the BT goes through correctly
