does anyone know how long it takes cap1 to report a new credit card to CRA ?
I cant speak for everyone but it took them 90 days and a phone call from me to have them report. Then had to call CRA and make sure it was accurate. Like I said that was me not sure about everyone's situation, but happened to both my Cap 1 cards.

It will report when statement cuts.. So give it a month.

I've never had Cap One report after the first statement. It usually seems to be the second statement.
This is actually nice of them as the first statement date is random and usually a surprise unless you contact them. Kind of annoying if you're racking up charges on a card to meet a promotional spend goal.
In my case, between my DW and me, we opened 3 new Cap One accounts on the very same day - all Venture and VentureOne - and each one of them ended up with a different statement closing date. 4th, 12th, and 16th IIRC
Hmm I was hoping they would pop up on my credit report sooner. I got 30k approval for venture card and this is going to push my utilization rate super low
Like many other creditors it's not fixed and varies.

You can always reduce balances prior to report date to lower reported utilization as well.
