How long of history needed for BOA Travel Rewards?

I am coming up on six months of credit history and would like to get this card. I currently have two secured cards and a discover. How long need I wait before applying for this card? I will be traveling in late September. Thanks.

Three new accounts in 6 mos? That might be too many for BoA. What's the rest of your profile? Inq's, CS , baddies?

I have no credit score as I am just short of six months history. Nothing bad, paid in full early each month. Low utilization. Three inq on ex and on transunion.

When i hit 6 months i had a score of 720+ with cc limits 5k+ and they denied me. Tried to recon and it still didn't work. They told me they look for about a year of credit history. So i would not waste the inquiry.

As 09Lexie pointed out above, and for optimal results, your history would need to be >12 months -- unless you are going via the secured card route.  Of course, this would vary by individual.  In general, BofA favors a fairly established file (not thin) before you can be considered for one of their unsecured CC products.

I got approved for this card last july, i had 3 years of credit history, 1.5 years aaoa, no baddies, 700 transunion fico, got denied initially but upon recon i got 5k approved had a cash rewards card for 10 months with a 2k limit

I have this card also but been banking with them (BofA) since '98 so that helps. lol
