Waiting is the worst part.  However, I've found that it's ok to reassure myself by reading the approval email several times a day.... I checked the approval link a couple of times to make sure they hadn't changed their mind... Plus, I call just to be extra sure.

Thank you for all the congrats btw!  This is my first Amex, I'm pretty excited because we love Westin's (Heavenly Beds are heavenly, and they are - by policy - pet-friendly, so we can bring our dog when need be)... and the rewards seem to be good.  Plus, the 10,000 bonus points means a free night at a $300 downtown Seattle hotel during our upcoming trip. [Assuming we get it credited in time] :0)

I agree I think the hotel rewards are the best.  They add up super fast. 

The Hilton Amex is a good deal.  The APR is high, but if you PIF, there isn't anything to worry about... PLUS, Hilton points can be converted to airline miles...   You get 5 Hilton points per dollar spent...

Also, if you follow the correct Hilton AMEX "Instant approval" application link, you can get approved for $1,000 instantly and they give you your actual account number and CID # so that you can use your card immediately.  No waiting for the card to arrive...  Plus, they give you a $50 credit when you charge your first stay at a hilton hotel...

What type of credit limits did AMEX give out to you all?    Did they offer any 0% intro or BT offers?

They gave me a 8.3K limit, highest to date.  From what I understand they rarely if ever offer 0% BT the best is 4.99%.

CL $14k, I believe there was a 2.9% BT, with no fee.... but we just BT'd to a 0% card, so didn't need that.

Was this the AMEX Blue card?   

Also, would they approve with at least a 3K CL for someone with 2.5 years credit history consisting of auto loan, mortgage, secured loan(PIF), old history of closed CC, and scores of 700, 713, 704 and income above 50k?

I think you can get it. Apply for it and see.
