How long to wait for 2nd AMEX?

as long as your utility is down Amex doesn't really care =p   it's a soft check anyways unless your getting more than 3 in 6months i don't think they would care.

I would recommend you wait. From reading posts on here it appears that too many apps too soon might get you either declined or FR'd.

well i went ahead and applied for the BCP and was approved. That is all i am going to apply with AMEX or any other bank for that matter. I just wanted one charge card and one revolver. Going to the garden now...

Well...I guess all that matters is that you got your approval. A denial hurts much worse when everyone tells you to wait and you dive in anyway... Congratulations!

I believe that if you are already a member it's only a hp if its an approval. Sp if you get denied.

very true...I just got an alert of an inquiry on experian report. Darn, i was hoping they would still use the same pull from the 23rd but they did another one. Oh well, it was an approval and dont plan to apply for anything else unitl at least September or later so dont feel too bad being double pulled.
