How often do you push the Luv button??

I do my Synchrony and WF accounts every 2-3 months.  None of my others do SP's that I'm aware of.

Discover was the card with the lowest limit and there I did hit the luv button every 3 months. Unfortunately quite many times with no luck.  Why only every 3 months? Well each unsuccessful attempt kind of disabled this button. Cap1 I did try every month after statement was cut until I got the result I wanted.  With the limits I have now I do not touch the luv button anymore except for my curiosity I could not resist in looking what would happen with Citi. Wanted to see if it would show SP or HP and yes it clearly states  before submitting. The HP information was there for quite some time and yesterday it showed it with no credit pull. I know 17K  which I had is crazy and then to hit the luv button does not make sense. I fullly agree but I just had to do it once to see how it works and if it really would not request a HP later on.  I like the way Citi does the CLI by clearly indicating if SP or HP so you can have a look without requesting anything and still cancel.  Now I will stop...no more touching luv buttons on cards over 10K for me.

I haven't had much luck with the luv button from Discover either, so don't feel bad. I've decided that I'm going to start showing them a little love. I have submitted a BT from my Target credit card. Hopefully, they might be willing to give me an increase in a few months. Good luck to you!!!

Does anybody know if there is a set amount of time you should wait before hitting that button if you recently received an automatic CLI on the card? For instance, Walmart and Amazon both gave me auto CLIs recently, in January if I'm remembering correctly. They did it at the same time, even though I have had the Walmart card for longer than the Amazon (opened Walmart in August and Amazon at the end of November). 

Can I hit the button and hope for more? Or does Synchrony not allow another CLI so soon?

I pulled the trigger once a year on Citi Forward and Walmart MC (if that). And Amex I have only pulled twice once in 2012 and once in 2015. I don't really show my luv buttons any luv

You should definitely try Walmart Chat to get a CLI. I received a CLI via button and a few days later tried chat, requested for $5k and they countered with $3500 from my $800 limit.

anything synchrony - chat them up. i was stuck on 250 from SL in dec 13.i hit that button EVERY month, declined every time.

chatted in for the first time and asked for 3k - approved. chatted back in 2 weeks later and asked for 10k - they countered at 6k

similar results from amazon, tj maxx (no chat, had to call) and banana republic
