I already have my PFICO!

Yesterday afternoon I was approved for the WaMu Real Rewards Plat MC.

Tonight I logged in to look at my WaMu bank accounts, and I saw that the CC was already listed on the banking website.  I clicked the link to take me to the CC site, and it logged me in automatically and took me to my CC account info.

Looked over to the right and saw:

FICO Credit Score:

Last updated: Apr 2008
Source: Experian

So I clicked it.  736!  (Only one point lower than my current regular EX FICO, which makes sense since all of my accounts are CCs.)

Is that record time for a PFICO to appear, or what?  I just applied yesterday!

Experian??? Very interesting...

I'm jealous! Mine pulls TU, which no bank or CC takes in my neck of the woods other than WaMu, lol...

Congrats on the early score, you lucky S*B!

Re: I already have my PFICO!

My WAMU first showed my EX PFICO, then suddenly switched to TU. Don't know why.

Grats on the quick score!

EX => TU

I had the same experience. At first, WaMu showed me 762 EX, and then changed into TU. Since then, every month, I get TU. Go figure!

Re: EX => TU

Did it wipe off the EX scores also? Mine did that. Switched to TU and acted as if it never showed EX in the first place.

Re: I already have my PFICO!

Here is what I got from the WAMU Website. I had no idea that the PFICO's range was so different from the FICO. I think i'm going to make another topic about that.
What score does WaMu display online?
We display a credit card specific FICO score which can range between 250 and 900. This score adjusts the Classic FICO score based on bankcard credit risk. The Classic FICO score measures a consumer's general credit risk. Large differences between the Classic FICO score and the credit card specific FICO score indicate a consumer whose general credit risk is different than their bankcard credit risk.

When do FICO scores update on this website?
The first score we display for your account is the score we obtained from the credit bureau when processing your application. This score is usually made available to you on our website within 2 to 4 weeks after your account has been opened and will remain available until it is 90 days old or we have begun receiving updated scores from the credit bureau. It may take as long as 3 to 4 months after your account is opened before we begin receiving the monthly updates. If you have a secured credit card account, we may not receive a score with your application, and it may take up to 6 months for a score to be displayed.

Scores are generally updated on a monthly basis depending on credit bureau updates and your account standing and should be available to view after the 21st through the 29th of the month. The score provided is based on the information in your credit report for the previous month.

However, we may not always receive a FICO score update for all of our customers from the credit bureau. If we do not receive information concerning your credit score from the credit bureau, we will not be able to display your updated FICO score. Additionally, as your credit history changes, so does your FICO credit score. If we do not receive an updated FICO credit score for your account within 90 days, we will no longer display your score.

Interesting.  So I guess I shouldn't be so excited about it.  When DF got hers, it took about 2 months for hers to show up at all, so I just figured that was the norm.

Thanks for the info.

Re: I already have my PFICO!

Great post dizzer! Thanks for sharing.

That PFICO score is wild! Smiley Indifferent Maybe it should be called PFAKO! Smiley Very Happy

As far as that score goes, it's just another FAKO score, and is totally useless...except to judge your monthly progress on a graph. It can't be compared to any other score to enable you to ascertain where you stand at any point in time. I just checked my account and PFAKO score. It's 617. It "says" it is the score as of 03/01/08. My true TU FICO score on 03/04/08 is 662.
