I'm like, WTH??? I just spent the better part of a week on the phone and writing e-mails about how ridiculous a $400 CL is, and that it really is a useless credit card. It costs me around $130 just to fill up my truck for crying out loud. My action was I closed my Juniper MC today because they refused to increase my line. Now, I'm declined because they claim my CL with Juniper is sufficient??? Lol.
Anyway, the bottom line is I don't need Juniper but I wanted to pass this little gem along to you guys. They are really not a bad company as they give decent rates to people with less than perfect credit, however they are simply little bitches when it comes to raising your CL.
Good luck to everyone out there fighting the good fight.

@Anonymous wrote:@Juni/Barclay's just seems to be one of those weirdo issuers. I got a Trav MC in Jan 07 w/ a mid 550 score at best. They gave me a 2k limit -- my second highest at the time. (The other was a maxed out HSBC card @ 4.6k.) At the one year mark Juni took it to 3k.I can't get Amex to BUDGE. I started at 1k in Sept 07 and I'm still there despite 2 requests for CLIs. They are my 2nd lowest TL, with only Old Navy below that at 500.I like the Trav card, but I like it a lot more when I don't have to contact their CSRs. I'll probably drop the card when I get another travel rewards card with a decent limit (sorry Amex Delta Gold, we don't play well together).
