Hey ive always wondered, lets say u have a credit card with a company but are also an AU with the same company but under lets say your wife.
If you get and FR and lets say they close your account or you close your accounts or your limit gets decreased, does your card as an AU also get affected.

it affects you just the same as the primary holder, there's no difference between AU and JOINT accounts only difference is your not liable for the bill.

Maybe i misunderstood your answer. I meant that the AU got an Fr for his own personal card lets say with chase. but does he get affected as an AU under his wifes chase account eventhough she didnt receive the fr

nope if you get an FR as an AU it won't affect your wife's. It's not guilty by association, although sometimes credit card companies or collections will try to get the authorized user to pay but that's an illegal process and harassment.
