I'm going to app for the following cards in 2018 and wonder what order I should app them in.
Discover IT Cash Back Match
PenFed Platinum Rewards Visa Signature (member since 2008 saving acct only)
US Bank Cash+ Visa Signature
My EQ is 779 avg age is 12 yr 8mo, 7 open accts, 2 have balance which I would like to transfer. I'm in Florida most pull EQ here.
The order is unlikely to matter too much with your stats. You didn't mention number of inquiries, but again it's unlikely to matter much if at all. I had no issues being approved with any of those three lenders in the past two years, but Discover has been the least generous by a long shot so perhaps they are more new account/inquiry sensitive than the others.

My fico 8 at TU is 759 not sure why it is lower than EQ other than it shows less of a history.
My Cap1 card has a $500/4500
My First Nat'l Bank of O is $107/2100 (this has been paid but won't update until 1/12)
THD $0/3100
First Premier $0/1250
First Premier $0/825
these above are the 5 that show on TU
Saks $0/800
Conoco/Philips $0/500 (open but not used as none in my area anymore)
7 show on EX (777) and EQ (779)
I do show a solid % on the USB and Disco Prequal

gosh you have such low limits on your cards, did you get them when your scores where a lot lower? on to your question, I am not big on multi apps much but I would do usb, penfed and disco. if one can judge a card by their portal - I do in part - usb it top notch and such a pretty color. app for it first and get it approved before moving forward. it will prob be a manual review. not to worry, if you have a solid % you are in. get the card because they will sp you during the 7-10 day period to see what you are up to. call the # right away to see if they need anything. go slow, there is no hurry, best to get the highest sl you can
I don't think it makes a huge difference, but I also think you should go with Discover first they do like thinner files (or at least they did last year).
Yes, I got my cards when rebuilding and never thought about upgrading or increasing them until I found my way back here recently.
I didn't need a lot of credit and didn't see the importance of it until I took a financial fitness class this passed year over at Catholic Charities. Now I have my head in the game.
USB is my main bank, I've had them for like 15 years or more. Never thought to get a card through them before.

15, impressive, that will not hurt. I am a pts/mi guy, no cash so I cannot speak for your choices and I dont believe in bal transfers because i dont believe in balances but usb is conservative and they will look you over for a few days after the app so do not apply for more than that single card until you activate it. they are like penfed in that will can speak to a uw/loan officer. top notch outfit imo. if you get a small limit recon it for sure and ask them to use the same pull. they are really great and once you are in you are in
