Hi folks -
Since I've gotten my BOA 1-2-3 Cash Rewards card, I don't use many of my other cards. I have a Capital One Platinum and a few GECRB cards. It's honestly inconvenient to use them often, but I don't want to close them until my AAoA gets a bit better.
Does anybody know how long the max (ballpark) amount of time before Capital One and GECRB (Walmart, Texaco specifically) will close for inactivity? I'll use them infrequently when I absolutely have to.
Thanks for the advice!

Use them every now and again for small purchases every 3-4 months and you will be fine ....gum,water chips, gas etc etc
Every six months I can handle - now every three ... I dunno. ![]()

Sorry I can't answer your question, but I personally have some bills auto-paid via credit cards (Hulu+, car insurance, etc...). Then you can simply pay the CC in full to avoid interest (if you have a grace period). For example, one of my CC has a 59.9% interest rate so I never want to use it or neither carry a balance; I have some bills that post to the car, then I just pay the statement balance in full.
or you can just occasionally use theme ![]()
